Draw a route on the map or import a GPX track: any real road, anywhere in the world.

The engine builds the notes
Tornante reads the road’s geometry and elevation and writes a full set of pacenotes: severity, distance, crests and dips.

Drive it, hear the calls
Start the run. Calls arrive timed to your GPS position, so your eyes stay on the road.
The call lands before the corner does, so you read the road, not a screen.

Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Once a stage is on your phone, the entire drive (GPS, pacenotes, voice) runs on-device. No servers are touched while driving; airplane mode is fine.
Where do the pacenotes come from?
Tornante measures them from the road’s own geometry: the tightest radius through each corner and how far it turns. That gives the grade, from 1 for the tightest to 6 for barely a bend, plus hairpins, squares and the distances between them. Every call can then be refined in the built-in pacenote editor.
Which roads can I drive?
Any real road: pick it on the map or import a GPX track. Two famous example stages are included: Col de Turini · Monte-Carlo and Passo dello Stelvio · 48 tornanti.
What happens to my data?
Nothing, because there is none to collect. Tornante’s App Privacy label is “Data Not Collected”: no accounts, no tracking, no servers touched while driving. Your location is used on the phone, in the moment, and never leaves it.
Is Tornante a racing or timing tool?
No. It’s a driving aid, not a licence to push. Tornante is audio-first and the HUD is glance-only. Keep your eyes on the road, obey all speed limits and traffic law, and always drive within your and the car’s limits.
Which languages does the co-driver speak?
Italian and English, each with a real co-driver voice. Tornante is an iOS app.
